2008 Open Provincial Championships
Singles and Team Qualifying
Nationals to be held in Hamilton, ON - May 28 to 31st 2008
Competition is open to all bowlers with a NS5PBA membership card and must be
19 years of age by December 31st, 2007.
(Non-member bowlers can purchase a membership card for $50.00/person)

Team Qualifying
January 26th, 2008 @ Shearwater Bowling Centre
Start time 9:00 AM
Top 6 Men and Top 6 Women will represent Nova Scotia at the National
Championships for the team events
Entry Fee: $300/team (5 player teams, minimum 1 woman)

Tournament Format
Match Play (6 points per game, minimum 9 games)
Tournament governed by C5PBA rules and regulations
Dress code in effect - Dress pants and collared shirts to be worn

Team Competition Prize Payouts
(based on 10 teams and will be adjusted accordingly based on entries)
1st Place - $600.00, 2nd Place - $450.00, 3rd Place - $300.00

Singles Qualifying
January 27th @ Stadacona Bowling Centre
Cost: Additional $40.00
The singles qualifying will consist of the games bowled in the team event
plus an additional 10 games bowled for a combined total pinfall
1st place Man and 1st place Woman will represent Nova Scotia at the
National Championships in the Singles Competition

Registration and Entry Fee MUST be received by January 12th 2008.
